The impact of Covid-19 pandemy on the sport motivation in para swimmers

Title: The impact of Covid-19 pandemy on the sport motivation in para swimmers Objectives: The aim of the study is to search for the existence of changes in the level of sport motivation in a group of para swimmers as a result of the pandemic crisis in the Czech Republic. Methods: The object of the research is to evaluate the data of a repeatedly submitted standardised Sport Motivation Scale questionnaire to a research cohort of 22 disabled para swimmers aged 19 to 48 years (as of 2021). Then a comparison of this assessment with the responses obtained through a structured interview conducted at the end of the research survey in August 2021 has been developed. Graphical processing and an appropriate form of t-test is used to investigate differences in motivation levels. Results: Although the statistical analysis of the data of the whole group did not show a significant difference between the two studied time periods, nor between men and women, a change in the level of intrinsic motivation to know was observed in the group of men studied separately. Furthermore, a correlation of intrinsic motivation to experience with age was found. When comparing these results with a set of descriptions of the respondent's subjective feelings, the answers to the scientific research questions are not entirely clear....
The Influence of Dance Training on Mood and Feeling of People With Paraplegia

Title: The influence of dance training on mood and feelings of people with paraplegia Objectives: The objective of this work was to detect using POMS questionnaire, whether the dance education has a positive effect on mood of people with paraplegia. Specifically, we focused on feelings such as depression, activity, anxiety and fatigue. Methods: The survey is a quantitative type using the POMS questionnaire (Profile of Mood State). Research has become a set of 40 people with paraplegia. 20 people were the control group and 20 persons were experimental group. Results: Dance education has significantly reduce the feeling of depression, anxiety, fatigue, and increase activity in patients with paraplegia. Title: Sugestion on database of sports assistance for handicaped people Objective: A suggestion to create a database of sport assistants for handicapped people. The database should reflect the needs of handicapped people as much as possible and simultaneously respect assistants' real possibilities. Methods: In our thesis we used a descriptive research method of quantitative character containing some qualitative features. The research concentrated on 2 groups "users" and "assistants" via electronic online survey. Results: We found out that most of the handicapped people do not have a person with whom they could do sport activity as often as wanted. It is a reason why they do sport less. The users are willing to pay for assistance more than expected. The assistants are obliging to provide more hours of assistance on the grounds of pay rise. The results offer sufficient amount of information to create a database of sport assistants for handicapped people. Title: Boccia, its specifications and possible factors affecting the performance of a player. Aim: The main aim of this thesis is to describe the game boccia as a top level sport. The thesis is also focused on topics connected with the issues of fair play and various factors which might complicate fair play maintaining in this sport. Methodology: In the theoretical part of the thesis boccia is described as a unique sport offering active sport to people with severe physical disabilities - for example spastic quadriplegia. The knowledge of adaptive sport and boccia is briefly summarized. The thesis focuses not only on history, rules, classification, equipment but the interesting aspects such as feelings of players and doubts of spectators are described too. Boccia is defined as a game of many specifications which might be considered as interfering with fair play. The empirical part presents a qualitative research. It's based on processed semi- structured interviews with committed top level boccia players. The research included interviews with 10 players, 2 women and 8 men. Stimulation of strength skills through intervention gymnastics program for people with spinal cord impairment

Title: Stimulation of strength skills through intervation gymnastic program for people with spinal cord impairment Objectives: The target of the work is to determine the degree of effectiveness of the newly created gymnastic program mediated to probands online, to the level of strength of the upper body and upper limbs of people with spinal cord injury. Methods: The research will be conducted in the form of a quasi-experiment with pre- testing and post-testing measuring. Used data collection methods included field testing, timed 100m dash in a wheelchair and 2kg weight throw and a questionaire. Analysis of found data has been done via descriptive statistics. Results: Results of post-testing showed that upon completion of a six-week interventional program, individuals with spinal cord impairment increased their strength levels in field tests. In the first field test, there was a slight percentage improvement of 5.9%. In the second field test, there was an overall mean percentage improvement of 10.9%. On average, probands improved by 8.4%, a slight to moderate improvement. The questionaires also showed that the trainees enjoyed the provided program. The LIRSPE protocol as a tool for evaluating and supporting the pro-inclusive approach of PE teachers

Title: The LIRSPE protocol as a tool for evaluating and supporting the pro- inclusive approach of PE teachers Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to present the Lieberman-Brian Inclusion Rating Scale for Physical Education (LIRSPE), which deals with evaluation and promotion of a pro-inclusive approach of PE teachers. We start with processing a literature review focused on the current use of this protocol in European countries. Furthermore, we provide a translation of the questionnaire part of the protocol into Czech language, verifying its comprehensibility. Methods: The thesis has theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical section analyses literacy resources from the field of students with special educational needs (SEN) and presents the LIRSPE protocol. The empirical section included literature review on the use of LIRSPE in European countries and a translation of the questionnaire part of the protocol (using the reverse translation method). The comprehensibility of this translation was verified by electronic questionnaire completed by 19 respondents - students of the second and third year of ATVS OSP studies at UK FTVS in 2021, whose average age was 22. Volunteering in para-athletics

Title: Volunteering in para athletics. Aims: The aim of this master thesis is research and insight into the problems within gaining volunteers in para-sport and further evaluate the volunteers motivation in attending the athletics contests. Methods: The qualitative research used for the examination is based on descriptive analyses. Two surveys and one interview were used for the enquiry of this volunteer phenomenon. To bring up the full picture of the volunteering phenomenon were chosen respondents who are representing three participating groups. First, individuals with volunteering experience, next students of Physical Education in practice and sport for people with specific needs, coordinators of athletes competitions and last para athletes. The research enquiry was based on original self structured surveys and interviews. Surveys were distributed via the electronic program Survio. The interviews were sent by email as a word file enclosure. Results: Results of this pilot research showed the meaning of volunteering in prarasport. The results of surveys for volunteers introduced some important points of motivation. Verification of the effect of a sport's program on the development of motor skills of children with specific needs

Title: Effect verification of interventional movement program on the motor skill development of children with specific needs. Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to assess the level of physical skills of older school aged children based on the pretest using the MABC-2 test battery. Based on the analysis of pretest results, establish a movement interventional program and use a standardized questionnaire submitted to specialists to determine the effectiveness of the motor stimulation program for children with specific needs and improve the results of a potential post-test. Methods: The template for creating the movement program was collected data using the MABC-2 test battery obtained in six probands aged 11 to 13 years with specific needs. Originally, the practical part of my thesis was to deal with quasiexperiment, which was supposed to obtain data before and after the implementation of an interventional program which includes the movement program presented here. However, control measurements were not allowed due to government regulations due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Interventional program of aerobics for people with Down syndrome

Title: Aerobics intervention motoric program for individuals with Down syndrome. Objectives: The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to create and verify an aerobics intervention program based on an analysis of theoretical background and an interview with specialists in the sphere of sports and education of people with DS. Methods: The work is focused on the creation and implementation of an aerobics intervention program for people with Down syndrome (DS) based on an analysis of theoretical background and an interview with specialists. The planned methods of data collection that were used are a semi-structured interview, analysis of theoretical background, induction, description of knowledge and own creative work during creating the program. Results: The research shows that people with Down syndrome enjoy sports. Despite the advances brought by modern times, the offer of physical activities for people with Down syndrome seems to be poor. Due to the health complications that Down syndrome brings with it, aerobic activities for individuals with the mentioned diagnosis seem to be suitable and developmental for their physical and mental side. Analysis of the current offer of leisure activities with focus on physical activity for primary school pupils with special needs in Prague

Title: Analysis of the current offer of leisure activities with focus on physical activity for primary school pupils with special needs in Prague Objectives: The main objective of this work is to analyze the services offered in the field of leisure activities with focus on sports and physical activity (PA) for primary school pupils with special educational needs (SEN) in Prague. Methods: We use two sources of data in our qualitative research. The first source is data obtained from the analysis of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports specifically for this research. The second source of data is a modified survey questionnaire created by Linhartova (2018). The questionnaire responses were obtained from 49 respondents, who were managers of centers and instructors of PA who provide leisure PA in Prague. Results: The research discovered insufficient support for PA among Prague primary school pupils with SEN in their free time. It turned out that on the one hand the offer of provided PA is not adapted to children with SEN and in the same way the offered activities are used by these children only to a very small extent, where it is more about individuals.
